International rules
At present, the rules require arms and legs to be bare so judges can see when elbows and knees are “locked” to determine if a lift is successful. Most competitors wear a form-fitting body suit with short sleeves and short pants called a singlet.

Abdullah argues that there are clothing alternatives — close-fitting sports gear with long sleeves and leggings — that could meet the requirements for modesty and fairness.

Is it just me or are the items pictured by Abdullah as an alternative form-fitting? I think she's kidding herself because she's not achieving modest with form-fitting alts. Just sayin'.

They have a reason for bare arms and legs. If she gets what she wants, she won't win any friends among her competitors. They will see that as an unfair advantage. Some of them might fake a conversion. Wink

Looks like a diving wet suit. Those are form fitting. If you have a pimple, you'll see it. LOL
