PostSubject: Forum Width   Sat May 21, 2011 2:16 pm

Hi, all. I just added some more links to news sites at the bottom of forum page. For some reason, when I do this, it temporarily widens the forum width. It should return to normal whenever forumotion does it's thing. This happened when I added them the first time. Sorry if it looks funny from your direction right now.

I'll try to remember to do that late at night from now on. Smile

As long as I can read it, I don't care if it's wide or narrow, unless it does like the TD did (remember the width war?) and the columns are 2 inches wide. Since I have a wide screen monitor, we can go a foot and I'm still good.
cheers

Geez Louise! I am looking at this from an older computer at work and by older I mean oooold. The look of the forum has lost some of it's zing, to put it mildly.

FYI, if the width of the forum is too wide for your screen, hit CTRL - (minus key) until it fits your screen.

...and I MUST do something about those buttons up top. Finding new ones will take time, but I'll find something more visible that matches.

The font color will have to go lighter as well. White is blinding on my newer computer at home (hurts my eyes), but I'll find something between white & what it is now. Smile

lmm, you and I need a lighter shade of blue as well. I can just barely make out our names on this computer.

No problemo..............I would like to see the "blue" changed....it's a little hard to make out, but no biggie

Forum Width....do you have an option for "full"? Instead of defining a size....BBC code "full" would allow it to default to the monitor size of the viewer...or should.....((((shrugs shoulders))))

hahaha..Joy i think you are a bit "over protective" of your new baby. It is fine. Don't over work yourself. You will get it like you want it. The main thing is you have created a nice place here. I think I speak for all of us. We like it. Thumbup Clap Hug

Make them RED!!!!!!! LOL. My old computer, Dell 2004, cannot load the pages well. To much glitz I guess. Yellow and black make the best contrast colors, even better than black and white. You may have to change the whole layout to change colors.

Smarty! I'm going to try to control myself. Most people don't like change like I do. I tried to find a background and pic I could live with for a good while.

Cool...... that means I can keep drinking!

Yay! I didn't even think about the look of it on smart phones...thanks! I'm really not a genius. Seriously, forumotion makes most things doable, even if you are not computer savvy...won't say easy, but doable. Smile
