And, let's hope the only fireworks we see are virtual ones...I'd not like to see the city of Florence burned down this weekend. Wink

I can do entirely without fireworks this year. The heat is plenty for me and it is way too dry to be taking chances!

We were talking about this too. I hope some...I won't say the word I am thinking...doesn't decide he just has to have fireworks. Things are crunchy dry and Florence would go up like a pile of dry hay. It would since it is a pile of dry hay Rolling Eyes

The pretty lights in the sky i'll be enjoying on the 4th are the ones i enjoy every night the weather permits........nothing prettier than looking at the moon and stars Very Happy mooncat

The hubby and I went to get me some more Angry Orchard (I swear, I love that stuff...perhaps not a good thing Shocked ) before nightfall last night and the moon was so pretty against the blue blue sky. Smile

What Independence day means to me...

The last song I bought at a store was this one Joy. Charlie got a lot of flack for it but I thought it was well done and every word was true.

Glad that Charlie is an American too.

The first song makes sense to me and for the most part I agree with it and the view of what America stands for. The 4th is the birthday of our country, and that is a good reminder for the most part of what our country is about. Thanks, Joy.


The second one makes me incredibly sad, although it does clarify some things for me. Crying
